Important Dates
Thursday, April 18 - School Council Movie Night at Ranchlands School
School Council Movie Night is April 18! The movie chosen is "Elemental" which is rated as PG. Feel free to bring a folding chair for your comfort. We also suggest you bring your own water bottle; a filling station will be available. Water and popcorn will also be for sale. Admission to this event is free; however, a cash and/or a food donation is appreciated in support of the Ranchlands Community Association Food Pantry. Doors open at 6pm and the movie starts at 6:30pm.
Friday, April 19 - No School For All Students
There is no school for all students on April 19 due to a Professional Development day for all CBE staff.
Monday, April 29 - Frisbee Rob Assembly and Workshop Day
Wednesday, May 1 - Hats On! For Mental Health
We invite you to wear a hat on this day to raise awareness of the importance of good mental health.
Thursday, May 2 - Math and Literacy Night
Join us on Thursday, May 2, from 6pm - 7pm to learn a little more about what your child is learning in literacy and math. You will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of tasks and games that you can complete with your child. We hope to see you there!

Outstanding School Fees
2023-24 school year fees are now due! To prevent your account from going into arrears and being sent out for collection, please login to your MyCBE/PowerSchool parent account to review your child's outstanding school fees and make a payment with a debit or credit card. Alternatively, please visit the school to make a payment with your debit or credit card. Please note that cash and cheques are no longer accepted. Dogs on School Grounds
We would like to remind our school community that dogs are prohibited on school grounds in accordance with the City of Calgary's Responsible Pet Ownership Bylaw. We thank you for adhering to this bylaw and keeping all our students safe.
Extra Snacks and Emergency Lunches
We are noticing an increasing amount of students who require extra food throughout the day. This ranges from the need for an extra snack or an emergency lunch. With students being more active with the spring weather and/or growth spurts, they may require more food to sustain them throughout the day. While we are happy to provide emergency snacks and lunches, if you are able, please ensure your child is packing extra, nutritious food each day.
