March 21 - 28 - Spring Break
The last day of classes before Spring Break is Thursday, March 20, and there will be NO SCHOOL for ALL students from Mar 21 - 28. Classes will resume on Monday, March 31.
Announcements
School Planning Survey for 2024/25
Parent input on school planning is an important way to share your thoughts and ideas on what is valuable for you and your child for next school year. Please complete the following survey using the link or QR code to share your thoughts. The survey will be open from March 7 - 21, 2023. We will also discuss parents' ideas at our next school council meeting.
Parent-Teacher ONLINE Conferences - March 20 & 21
Online conferences will take place on March 20 from 4:30pm to 7:30pm and on March 21 from 8:30am to 1pm. The booking system will open at 8am on Monday, March 10 and can be accessed through your MyCBE account. Once a time has been booked, an online meeting link will be emailed to you. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the CUPE Local 40 labour action, there will be no in-person conferences.
Scholastic Book Fair
During the week of March 17 - 20, students will be invited to enjoy the book fair. This is an opportunity for students to buy books and small items to enjoy, with the proceeds going directly to help our school buy new resources. Last year the money went to helping our school buy new copies of some well-worn books and some of the new content books that Scholastic provides. Students will have a chance to preview the book fair and a second chance with which to buy something. Even a few dollars can get students something. This year the book fair will not be open during Parent-Teacher Conferences.
Ramadan
We would like to send our heartfelt greeting to all our families who are observing Ramadan.
