Winter Safe Driving Habits

Please do not choose convenience over safety when dropping off or picking up your child at school. This means no double parking, blocking the school buses or parking in the cross walk zones. We also ask you to respect the staff parking lot and do not use it at any time. All of the parking stalls within the lot are spoken for and are NOT for parental use. We thank you in advance for your consideration.

Ranchlands School Council is Looking for Volunteers

Ranchlands School Council is entirely run by parent volunteers, and as a parent/guardian with a child in the school, you are automatically a member!

We are currently seeking new members for our executive team. Some families have moved, and we’ve lost a few key members. Your involvement is vital to ensure we can continue providing valuable support and opportunities for our school community.

The School Council helps fund and organize initiatives such as:

  • Technology: iPads, laptops, and smartboards
  • School-wide Activities: Dance residencies, lacrosse, and more
  • Fun Lunches: A treat for students and staff
  • Special Events: Halloween Dance, Movie night
  • Grade Six Farewell: Celebrating milestones
  • Feedback on School Operations: Ensuring parent voices are heard

Please consider becoming a regular member or joining our executive team to make a positive impact on our school. Your time and support make all the difference!

As always, please call the office at 403-777-6350 ext 0 if you have any questions or concerns.

Have a wonderful weekend!
