Important Dates
Orange Shirt Day – Friday, September 26
Please join us in wearing orange on Friday, September 26. Students will spend time learning about the history of the residential school system and will honour Indigenous people in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Tuesday, September 30.
Monday, September 29 - No School For All Students
This is a Professional Development Day, and there is no school for all students.
Tuesday, September 30 - No School For All Students
There is no school for all students on Tuesday, September 30, due to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation statutory holiday.
Tuesday, October 7 - Picture Day!
Dress up as you wish and bring your biggest smile! Retakes will happen on November 13.

Announcements
City of Calgary After School Program - SPACES STILL AVAILABLE!
The city will once again this year be offering a free after school program on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Ranchlands School. This program is meant for grade 4 to 6 students and is available on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in joining, please have your child ask at the office for a registration form. Please complete the form and return it to the office as soon as possible. You will be contacted by the city if your child is accepted into the program. Pumpkin Hunt – Playground Fundraiser
This playground fundraiser will take place at Wildflower Park in the Ranchlands Estates area. Please join us in a search for hidden mini pumpkins. Child & Youth Well-Being Family & Caregiver Series
The CBE invites all parents and guardians to join us for a live online series focused on supporting child and youth well-being. Hosted by the Recovery Alberta Community Education Services (CES) Program in collaboration with experts from the Calgary community, this year's sessions will explore a wide range of timely topics.
