Bike to School Day - May 7
We’re excited to invite families to take part in Bike to School Day on Wednesday, May 7! Students who ride their bikes to school are invited to join in some fun outdoor activities from 8:50am to 9:30am to kick off the day. Afterward, students with bikes may store them safely in the gymnasium and begin their regular school day. Students who are not biking will enter the school at the usual time and take part in in-class activities prepared by their classroom teacher.
In keeping with the spirit of the event, we kindly ask families to bring bikes only - no scooters, skateboards, or other wheels, please. And don’t forget: helmets are mandatory. Students without helmets will not be allowed to participate in biking activities and will need to walk their bike to school.
Let’s roll into May with a healthy, active start — see you on your bikes!
Planning For the 2025-26 School Year
It is hard to believe, but we are already well underway planning for the 2025-26 school year! Please be sure to contact the office and let us know if your family will be moving out of our catchment area or if you know that your child will not be returning to Ranchlands School next year.
Please note: All of our Grade 6 students will be automatically designated to H.D. Cartwright School for Grade 7, and parents do not need to do anything unless you plan for your child to attend somewhere else for Grade 7.
