IMPORTANT! Transportation Registration for the 2026-2027 School Year
Yellow school bus service levels and proposed fees for the 2026-2027 school year have now been posted. The cost will be $500/student or $250 for kindergarten students.
What you need to know:
∙ Registration is available by logging into your MyCBE parent account and clicking on the Fees, Waivers and Service Registration tile.
∙ Families must register by Sunday, June 14, 2026 for students to be added to routes for the start of the next school year.
∙ Transportation will continue to accept registrations after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest existing stop with available space. Processing times could be up to six weeks at the beginning of the school year due to volume.
We encourage all families to register by the deadline if they think they will use yellow school bus transportation this fall. You can cancel before the end of September with no financial penalty. More Information: Register Now for Yellow School Bus Service

Promoting Healthy Youth Relationships
Parenting isn’t always easy - especially when it comes to talking to your kids about friendships, dating, and boundaries.
That’s why Shift: The Project to End Domestic Violence at the University of Calgary created ConnectED Parents – a free text message program that sends parents and caregivers practical tips to help young people aged 6–20 build healthy, respectful relationships. We have already reached 300 parents across Canada and just opened registration for our sixth cohort.
Starting in June 2026, participants will get 2–3 short texts each week with tips, tools, and ideas you can use right away. Over 6-7 months, you’ll get about 70 messages to help you:
✔️ Start open, honest conversations about relationships and dating
✔️ Feel more confident connecting with your child
✔️ Support healthy relationships early and prevent teen dating violence
The program is effective – as one parent said:
“I am really grateful to have been a part of the ConnectED program! I learned a lot about myself, my role in parenting, and ways to support my child as he navigates expectations, boundaries, and his sense of self.”
