Planning For the 2024-25 School Year

It's hard to believe, but we are already well underway planning for the 2024-25 school year! Please be sure to contact the office and let us know if your family will be moving out of our catchment area or if you know that your child will not be returning to Ranchlands School next year.

All of our Grade 6 students will be automatically designated to H.D. Cartwright School for Grade 7, and parents do not need to do anything unless you plan for your child to attend somewhere else for Grade 7.

7 Sacred Teachings

The 7 sacred teaching for the month of May is Wisdom.  The animal that represents this teaching is the beaver.  Wisdom is the ability to make decisions based on knowledge and experience.

Spring Weather - Be Prepared!

Calgary's weather can be unpredictable during the spring. Please ensure you come to school with a light jacket or extra sweater. We will continue to go outside each day for recess, even if we're experiencing spring showers. We do not go outside during heavy downpours of rain.
