Important Dates
No School For All Students on Friday, September 27 This is a Professional Development Day, and there is no school for all students.

Picture Day! Tuesday, October 8 Dress up as you wish and bring your biggest smile! Retakes will happen on November 14.
Ranchlands School Council In-Person & Virtual Meeting - Tuesday, October 8, at 6:45pm All parent(s)/guardian(s) of students attending Ranchlands School are welcome to attend! Please join us in the Ranchlands School library. A virtual link will be shared closer to the meeting date.
No School For All Students on Monday, October 14 There is no school for all students on Monday, October 14, due to the Thanksgiving Day statutory holiday.
Ranchlands School Council Family Halloween Dance - Thursday, October 24 We will be celebrating Halloween and having our dress-up day on October 24th to align with our Halloween dance and to not conflict with our swimming lessons happening on Oct 31st.

Swimming Lessons For Grades 3-6 - Oct 28, 29, 30 & 31 Swimming lessons for Grades 3 to 6 will happen each day from Oct 28 to Oct 31. Swimming lessons for Kindergarten to Grade 2 will happen March 10 through 13, 2025. Watch for permission forms to come home this week for our older students!

Terry Fox Run - Thank you!
Thank you to all those who supported and contributed to our Terry Fox Run and fundraiser! Also, a big thank you to everyone who volunteered to make this event happen. Donations continue to be accepted until Tuesday, Oct 1.
City of Calgary After School Program - A FEW SPACES STILL AVAILABLE!!
The city is once again offering a free after school program on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Ranchlands School. This program is meant for grade 4 to 6 students. If you are interested in joining, please have your child ask at the office for a registration form. Please complete the form and return it to the office as soon as possible. You will be contacted by the city if your child is accepted into the program. The program runs until May 15, 2024. See link for more information: Registration Package
