Wednesday, April 15 - Healthy Hunger Fun Lunch
This month's fun lunch will be provided by Edo Japan. Orders must be placed no later than Friday, April 10. www.healthyhunger.ca

School Council is organizing a family movie night on April 23, from 6:30pm-8pm. Please mark you calendars and watch for more details next week.
Friday, April 24 - No School For All Students
There is no school for all students on April 24 due to Professional Development day for all CBE staff.

Welcome Andres
We are excited to welcome Andres Garcia Gonzalez to our school from April 7–17, 2026 as part of our Administrator Exchange Program. Last week during spring break, Mr. Wigglesworth had the opportunity to visit schools in Spain and spend time with Andres, gaining valuable insight into their school community and culture. He had a wonderful experience and is now looking forward to sharing the unique spirit of Ranchlands and Canadian schooling with our guest. This exchange is a meaningful opportunity to build connections, learn from one another, and celebrate global perspectives within our school community.
Kindergarten Registration for 2026-2027
As we plan for next year, please ensure that you register your child for kindergarten as soon as possible. Please share this message with anyone you know who has a kindergarten student who has not yet registered!

Planning for the 2026-2027 School Year
It is hard to believe, but we are already well underway planning for the 2026-2027 school year! Please be sure to contact the office and let us know if your family will be moving out of our catchment area or if you know that your child will not be returning to Ranchlands School next year.
Please note: All of our Grade 6 students will be automatically designated to H.D. Cartwright School for Grade 7, and parents do not need to do anything unless you plan for your child to attend somewhere else for Grade 7.
Indoor Shoes
Please ensure that your child continues to come to school in a different pair of shoes than they wear at school. More dirt and debris is being tracked into the school now that the weather has warmed up and when students do not change into their indoor shoes. Indoor shoes are meant to remain at school. Our Facility Operator and cleaning team thank you very much!
