Dear Ranchlands School Community,

It is with mixed emotions that I share that I will be retiring at the end of the 2026 calendar year. My last day with students will be Friday, December 18, 2026.

As I look ahead, I am excited to begin this next chapter of life, with more time to read, travel, enjoy the outdoors, and spend time with my family. At the same time, I will deeply miss the many people, relationships, and rewarding experiences that a career in education has provided.

I am filled with gratitude for a long and fulfilling career. Over the past thirty years, I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of students, staff, and families who have enriched my life in countless ways. Each of you has contributed to my journey, and I will carry those memories with me.

I would like to extend a special thank you to the Ranchlands School Community, where I have had the honour of serving as Principal for the past six years. Your kindness, patience, dedication, and unwavering commitment to students have made these years truly special. Because of you, I am ending my career on a high note.

Thank you for your collaboration, support, and friendship over the years. I will miss being part of this incredible community. I wish Ranchlands School and the Calgary Board of Education continued success and many wonderful years ahead.
