Our Week at a Glance email is sent out once a week to provide you with the most up to date information with what is happening at Ranchlands School.

Important Dates

Pulse Dance Residency for ALL Students - Celebration Performance TONIGHT!

The culminating celebration performance happens at the school TONIGHT, December 7! We ask that students arrive at school between 6pm - 6:15pm and head directly to their classrooms. Parents can proceed to the gym, and the performance will start at 6:30pm and will last approximately 1 hour. Thank you to School Council for covering the cost of this exciting opportunity!

No School For ALL Students - Friday, December 8 - TOMORROW!

There is no school for all students on December 8 due to a professional development day for staff.

Winter Spirit Week

Join us each day by wearing some special items.

Monday, Dec 18 - Plaid Day

Wednesday, Dec 20 - Crazy Socks Day
Thursday, Dec 21 - Sweater Day
Friday, Dec 22 - PJ Day

December 22 - Last Day of Classes Before Winter Break

Please note that this is an early dismissal day (1:20 pm).

December 23 - January 7 - Winter Break

There will be no school for all students during winter break.

January 8 - First Day of Classes After Winter Break

Lost and Found Items

Teachers will be walking their classes past our lost and found items in the next few days. We also ask parents to have a look through the items while they are here on Thursday evening for the dance performance. Anything unclaimed after December 15 will be donated.

School Council News

Ranchlands School Council Parent Library

Ranchlands School Council is pleased to launch our new parent library. We have attached a list of books and workbooks about parenting and mental health that are available for our parents to borrow. We do ask that you only take the books out for 2 weeks at a time, and that you use the workbooks as a guide - keep the pages clean for other families to use too! Books can be accessed by emailing ranchlandscouncil@gmail.com. See flyer under Resources.

Ranchlands Community Centre Winter Craft Market – Saturday, December 9

The Ranchlands Community Association is hosting a Winter Craft Market on Saturday, December 9 from 10am to 3pm. Our School Council is hosting a bake sale table, for anyone who is interested in purchasing some holiday baking. Anyone who is able to DONATE baking to this event is asked to contact School Council as soon as possible at ranchlandscouncil@gmail.com.

Kindergarten Registration Begins January 15!
